Auction!

Hi Families,

We were in a little bit of a rush today, but we managed to hold our first auction!!  It was a fun first experience for all of us. Some of the passes auctioned off included: working in the hallway, snack at anytime throughout the day, and working in the back room.  There will be more next week!  The prices for these passes were fairly low, but I suspect as we earn more money that prices will increase, but also keeping in mind that kids need to either buy their desk or start paying rent next month (this month's rent is free).

I'm excited to see what our banking and auction bring next week!

Motion and Design

We have launched our motion and design science unit and there is a lot of excited energy about it!  Today the kids had their first design challenge and everyone was successful.  Their task was to build a vehicle that could travel 1 meter and then reflect on how the process went.  Many vehicles traveled far beyond that!
